National Stock Exchange (NSE) has announced that no charges will be levied on the trades done in Futures and Options contracts on Nifty Next 50 Index (NIFTYNXT50) in Future & Options segment from April 24, 2024 till October 31, 2024. In its circular dated April 23, 2024, NSE said that the move aims at encouraging active participants in Futures and Contracts on Nifty Next 50 Index.
Nifty had announced the introduction Futures and Options contracts on Nifty 50 Index (NIFTYNXT50) in Futures & Options segment starting from April 24, 2024.
NSE in the circular dated April 18 informed about the F&O of Nifty Next 50 regarding tick size of Rs 0.05, contract size (lot size) of 10, trading cycle of 3 serial monthly contracts, and settlement in cash.
On April 24, 2024, the following expiry cycle will be available:

BSE Sensex witnessed a jump of 89.33 points (0.12 per cent) to close at 73,738 points today, April 23, against the previous day close at 73,648 points. During the session, the index touched a high of 74,048 points and a low of 73,688 points. Bharti Airtel, Maruti, Neslte India, Tata Motors, Asian Paints, NTPC remained the top gainers. In the category of top losers, Sun Pharma, Reliance, Bajaj Finserv, Tata Steel secured the spot.
