'ARANMANAI 4' BOX OFFICE COLLECTION: SUNDAR C'S HORROR FRANCHISE MINTS OVER RS 10 CRORE IN 2 DAYS

The comedy horror drama film 'Aranmanai 4' was released in theatres on May 3. The film was released in Tamil and Telugu and now according to the reports of Sacnilk, the movie has earned over Rs 10 crore in two days. Directed by Sundar C, the film stars Tamannah Bhatia, Raashii Khanna, Santhosh Prathap, Ramachandra Rajum Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, KS Ravikumar, Jayaprakash, VTV Ganesh, Delhi Ganesh, Rajendran among others.

The film marks the 4th franchise of 'Aranmanai'. The film on day 1 made Rs 4.15 crore at the box office and on day 2, Saturday, the film made Rs 6 crore at the box office and it is expected to run well on Sunday as well. Though the movie received mixed reviews from fans, the film is still running with an occuoancyy of 44% in theatres.

The movie received a lot of negative feedbacks from netizens and a few even stated that director Sundar C should retire the franchise. Meanwhile, the director stated that audience have now stopped enjoying commercial drama and comical films and want to be part of the crowd that watches thoughtful movies.
